Daphne Summers or Daff for short, is walking on thin ice with her sanity ever since she was six. She has these hallucinations that downright qualifies her as crazy and prevents her from having a normal life and romantic relationship. When she meets Lester, life finally becomes normal. But when he suddenly leaves her for reasons unknown, things have gone even more awry for her.
Now, she faces the problem of not only finding a missing boyfriend, but adjusting to a whole, new lifestyle of monsters, demigods, and unwanted quest.
