Marinette and Adrien used to be great friends. Marinette was fostered at the Agreste Mansion long ago when her parents were drafted into the war, fighting for the Western Rebellion. The two got along perfectly until one day they accidentally find themselves in a cave, while separated they are both offered magical jewels that can grant them super-natural powers. Marinette is offered the Miraculous of the Ladybug who fights for the Northern Force. Adrien is offered the Miraculous of the White Cat, he battles for the Western Rebellion. Both now fight for what they think is the greater good. Neither come out the same. In the end, the question is... who will break first?

She never shows this pain unless through her civilian self, and that was also at home, where she cries her eyes out every night. And every time her 3 best friends had asked her, "What's wrong?" she would always say "I'm fine!" Only to keep them safe. Adrien didn't believe her fake facade and looked past her plastic smile, so he decided to visit her one evening after his patrol as Chat Noir with Ladybug. What would happen when the breaking civilian meets the unexpected alleyway cat? Will she open her heart to him? And how long will her mask hold up? 2nd book, a dedicated fanfic to miraculous!!!!!!
