"I know you're giving in!" Master Luke yelled as our lightsabers clashed. "Don't do it!"
He was right. The dark feeling had spread throughout my body and reached my mind.
I heard that same voice from training in my head.
Peace is a lie. There is only Passion.
Through Passion, I gain Strength.
Through Strength, I gain Power.
Through Power, I gain Victory.
Through Victory, My chains are broken.
The Force shall set me free.
I finished in my mind.
We fought until I under kicked Master Luke and he fell on his back. I pointed my saber at him basically showing that I had won.
"You would have been a great Jedi." He said simply.
"That is the one thing I will never be."

This is a prequel to When Stars Collide with the events before 34 ABY which is when The Force Awakens takes place as well as WSC. So enjoy!

And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others.
