When the Valar brought Glorfindel back from the dead he made a promise to Elrond that he would protect him as he had protected Earendil all those long years ago. When the Elven Lord had children he promised to watch over them just the same. When the twins and Glorfindel are met with trouble on a journey to Lothlorien, the elves of Imladris will quickly learn how seriously the golden haired elf keeps his promises.

The youngest of Lord Elrond's children has always been different from her siblings. A part of her seemed to be locked away, waiting for the right moment to burst forth.
