Emerald Montez is a college student who vents her reveries through writing. When she works her way into a few chapters, Emerald thought that today would be like any other day-- until she published her first novel.

Most people would be ecstatic if their fantasies became a reality, but Emerald Montez feels the opposite. The reason is that the story she wrote contains mysteries, tragedies, and supernatural phenomena. Now, the world turned dark and monsters are roaming around the streets.

Emerald strives to stop this misery. She thought it was going to be easy to put an end to her story. However, Emerald will inevitably encounter difficult choices, betrayal, and sacrifices along the way. Will she be able to make the right decisions and finish her story? Or will she be trapped and left alone in a nightmare she had created?
