Kamado Hisae was an unexpected, but not unwelcome birth. Her parents only expected her twin brother, Kamado Tanjirō to be born. They were ecstatic to find out about her on the day of Tanjirō's birth. She and Tanjirō were inseparable ever since.

They were born on a bright, summer evening. The sky looked as if it were in flames. The day their normal lives were shattered, it was a cold, dead day in the middle of winter. The sky was overcast and seemed to cry its tears in the form of snow in mourning.

Hisae, much like Tanjirō, was incredibly kind and incredibly selfless. She may not think she is cut out for this world of Demons and Demon Slayers, but she will follow her last surviving siblings to the ends of the Earth. Hisae will be there for when Nezuko and Tanjirō avenge their family, their pack, with open arms and a warm smile. And if they stumble across a new pack along the way... well, Hisae always missed having such a large family surrounding her. She was a big sister of six after all.

Hisae had a ferociously burning heart and she will protect those who too weak to protect themselves.
