I've always known somebody was watching me. Guarding me. I've always had the feeling of eyes on my back. And I've always seen shadows on the pavement, when no birds are in sight. I always thought that story books were indeed, fantasy. I didn't know they had truth behind their unbelievable tales of magic and other worlds, where young boys fought pirates, and fairies died by the words often spoken by those who truly believe. Everything changed when a boy in tights brought me to his world. The land beyond the stars.

Evelynn Chambers, in a strange turn of events, finds herself in Neverland. Desperate to get home, she has no choice but to aid Peter Pan and the Lost Boys to retrieve the broken Mirror's Frame. With it, she can free the boys from their tie on the island. But stealing a Mirror's Frame is easier said than done, especially when the Governor is the one holding the shattered remains. Eager to kill Peter and the boys, the Governor will stop at nothing to get Evelynn in his hands. He captures the Second Star, locking the portal to travel between worlds and preventing Evelynn from going home. Magic, betrayal, hatred, revenge and a budding romance sends the island into a bitter war.

Evelynn, only wanting to get home, must overcome the Captain of the Bay and the Governor to get back the Second Star. But something lurks beyond the island, and might just change her mind about leaving.

Ever since Baz was a child, he heard stories of the miraculous Simon Snow and his incredible adventures in Neverland. For Baz, stories of Simon are more than just stories--they are true. The tales become his way to escape his harsh reality and his old-fashioned family. So, when his sister is old enough to understand, he tells her about Simon Snow and his battles with The Insidious Humdrum and how he and his fairy help-mate, Penelope, save Neverland on a daily basis. What Baz doesn't know is that there's always someone lurking outside his window when he tells these stories. Ever since Simon was born, he knew that the real world wasn't the place for him. His mother died during childbirth and his father, in turn, became an abusive drunk. So, when Simon was seventeen, he escaped to Neverland where he would never have to grow up and be like his father. Now that he's been there for so long (he lost track of the years overtime) he starts to wander back into the real world to see how things have changed. One night he hears, through an open window, a silky voice telling stories of Simon Snow the Great Adventurer. The boy that didn't want to grow up. So Simon hovers outside the window night after night, just to hear what the boy has to say. One night, Simon finds himself going in through the window to try and find his shadow and meets the mysterious story-teller. Who, as he finds out, is not just mysterious--he is incredibly attractive.
