He swallowed as he realized the depth of the situation he was in. He knew what kind of knight was hunting him down right now: a bounty hunter. A ferocious warrior, swift and nearly silent, specially trained to capture wanted criminals and take them to their kings, for rewards of gold, jewels, riches, and power. There was no way he could escape or outrun him. He would always be one step ahead.
He wanted... no, he needed to know if his family was safe. Even though it was unlikely that they were in danger, it was not impossible.
And if there was one thing Techno didn't cope well with, it was losing the ones he loved.
(Or, Technoblade's hopes of a peaceful retirement arc are shattered when he's hunted down by a ruthless warrior in a smiling mask. And oh God, why won't his brother just LISTEN to him for once?)

Tommy is skeptical about these "beasts" that the kingdom is oh-so frightened about, so he sets out during the night, full of curiosity, to see if they're real, or just a myth. But you know what they say. "Curiosity killed the cat." Or in this case, "Curiosity killed the kid." But does he die? Maybe not. Are some of those "wicked beasts" actually nice if they're even real? After a war that has gone for centuries, King Philza of Zariya decides to invite his enemy kingdom to sign a peace treaty. But it would only make sense if that King brought his own son to see Zariya. Beautiful friendship blossoms between Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo as they conspire in secret. They don't know exactly what happened that night, but they know for sure there was foul play. King Philza and his eldest son, Wilbur, immediately jump to conclusions and accuse the Kingdom of Fremoor for committing theft of a sacred artifact. Now, it's a race against time. The three princes must find the courage and bravery to do the impossible to save their home and possibly, all of humanity. Wilbur is only months away from being crowned king... but is that what he truly wants? Tommy is the youngest of the family. Always looked down upon. If only there was something he could do to show everyone that he deserves as much praise as his family. Tubbo, the charismatic fellow who sometimes feels like his role of middle child is a little to literal. He dreams of greater things. Sure, being a prince and living in comfort was amazing. A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other.
