Love is a form of obsession. What makes you love a person, if not dedicating yourself to learning every single detail about the person you are infatuated with. To most, you are in love; but by definition, you are obsessed. (Please excuse any elementary or explicit language, this story was written several years ago. In the glittering shadows of Italy's underworld, power and blood are the only currencies that matter. Lorenzo Belnardi- cold, ruthless, and feared by all - built his empire on sin and silence. Yet beneath the cruelty lies a secret that haunts him more than any crime he's ever committed: his forbidden love for the one soul he swore to protect - his little sister. a hunger he could no longer control. What began as devotion turned into something darker, something neither heaven nor hell could forgive. But fate is merciless, and when another man steps into her world - a man who sees her innocence and claims her heart - Lorenzo's empire trembles, and so does his sanity. Caught between obsession, guilt, and a love she should never return, she becomes the center of a war where passion burns as fiercely as pain. Love becomes war. Obsession becomes faith. And she becomes the prize no god, no law, and no sin could keep from him. Because some loves are not written in heaven - they're carved in darkness, sealed with blood, and destined to burn. A story of love too deep, too wrong, and too unforgettable.
