Maika en Megan hebben veel gemeen en merken dat ze het goed met elkaar kunnen vinden. Ze zitten niet bij elkaar op school maar zien elkaar bijna dagelijks, tot dat het corona virus opduikt in Nederland.
Mensen worden ziek en sommige mensen overlijden er zelfs aan. Alles verandert: Lessen worden online gegeven, winkels sluiten, horeca gaan dicht en OV is alleen toegestaan voor ecenciele reizen.
De ouders van Megan zijn erg bang voor het virus en laten daarom niemand binnen, dit maakt het contact tussen Maika en Megan erg moeilijk.
