Years in the future, the citizens of earth now live on a new, man made planet known as Alchemist. Solstice Northstar and Lina Godspeed are famous for playing one of their planets most popular sports: Mechanical Angel. A game in which two members of separate teams battle while their partners control them from behind a screen. Lina and Solstice(Team Phoenix) are one of the five teams chosen to move on to the next season. But the two players find that their chance at fame depends not on how well they fight, but on whether or not they can stay out of the dark conspiracy that plagues the game obsessed kingdom.
