Set after Transformers One: With the newfound threat of the Quintessions on the horizon, Optimus Prime must put aside his fears and lead the Autobots against Cybertron's greatest threat and their newest enemy, The Decepticons. Forced to fight against his brother, Optimus takes on the challenge of leadership with the aid of the Thirteen Primes behind him. Unknownst to him, his greatest challenge arises when an old friend appears in Iacons meeting hall. The new Prime hadn't seen her since the Energon's return, and the exile of Megatron. Memories of their past arise and a new bond is forged. Will the Autobots and Decepticons be able to set aside their differences and take down the Quintessions? Or will jealousy tear a hole between two broken brothers?

Family is what you make it. Love is what helps you get there. . . Slightly different fic this time. I've been aware for a while that despite my ramblings about Optimus and Cordelia, I haven't explored their relationship from the first movie...as in how they bonded, etc. This fic does go slightly AU as what I wanted for Lia and Optimus just didn't work with the plot of the movies. The movies and the events that happened in them are still canon, but I have gone off the beaten track a little. A few disclaimers: I live in the UK so I may write/spell a few things differently than you're used to reading. Leo in this story is NOT Leo from ROTF. He is my OC and is originally from Wales. However, upon trying to interrogate Thunderburst for information about the Autobots, the warlord slowly begins to find himself falling for the femme. Who would have thought that all the Decepticon leader would need would be to meet his sworn enemy's sister? Originally called His Daughter, but has been rewritten to improve the writing in this story, and to allow it to be a little more fleshed out.
