A story where Wei Ying never met Jiang Cheng and the others and is a well known assassin. lives up in the burial mountains with Grandma Wen, Wen Qing, Wen ning, and Ah-Yuan. he is hunted and wanting to be captured by all clans but they don't know where to look. they have guards looking around each city ready to turn Wei Ying in. Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan are not together in this. Yanli is friends with Wei Ying and lives up there with them or down in Yiling, and they sometimes have sleepovers together. And has 2 son which is Jiang Rulan ( Jin Ling ) and Jiang Jingyi ( Lan Jingyi ) and they both sometimes comes up to the burial mountains to hang out with Ah-Yuan. 
Xichen and Jiang Cheng are together ( in relationship ) with Nie Huaisang, Jin Zixuan , Jin Guangyao ( is good not bad ), and Lan Zhan. Lan Zhan and Xichen are not brothers in this they are friends in a relationship with each other.
Xiao Xingchen lives in Yiling too same with Song Zichen.
Xue Yang lives up at the burial mountains with Wei Ying and is also best friends with him and is too a assassin. And he's not evil or insane. He just wants candy.
And Mian Mian is not married she left the Jin clan and Lives where we see her live with her husband in the drama. She has a little girl also named Mian Mian but she calls her Miania ( but it is very rare that she calls her that ). But to not let people get confused she tells them her name is Mian Ani and mostly calls he Ah-Mian, or Ani.

Put simply, if you all remember the time Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning were on the way to Yanli and Zixuan's marriage, he was shot down by several Jin's, going against given orders. During what seems like a relatively normal day, objects go flying around and cryptic messages appear in an unidentifiable crimson liquid, scrawled and messy.
