Amara is the daughter of two nations. Her father: A Fire Nation Admiral. Her mother: an imprisoned waterbender from the Southern Water Tribe. Her half-brother Zhao sees Amara as nothing but a mistake that he has been burdened with after his father's death. Abused both physically and mentally for sixteen years by her Fire Nation family, Amara begins to lose hope that she will ever know what it means to be happy and free. However, that all changes when she is saved by a strange man with a great love for tea.
