"Care to explain what you two were discussing before I showed up," Aya asked and the two shared a look.

Chris sighed. He promised he wouldn't back down today. "I was wondering if I could leave the grounds for a couple of hours."

"No." Her answer was blunt and left no room for objection, but Chris couldn't let it go.

"Please Master Aya," he begged using her proper title, "it has been years since I last went out." He put on his best puppy dog face, but Aya just kept her expressionless stare on the two. However, he wasn't really aiming for Aya.

Kimi's brow furrowed as she looked at Chris. "Come on, Aya, it has been years," she argued for Chris. "Humans are social creatures and it keeps them sane."

"He has us. Would you like a pet too," she offered, though the two weren't sure if Aya was actually being serious.

"Or you can let him out for one night. There's the festival, people would be too busy to pay attention to one man. He can get all his social endeavors out for the next few years."

Aya didn't say anything, which was a sign that she was mulling it over instead of out right rejecting them again. Chris couldn't help but get his hopes up in the silence. "Fine," she finally said, making Chris shout out a 'yes.'

During a life in prison, a girl name Kayla Rocksand was stuck in jail for something that she was blame for. During her time in prison, she overheard policemen saying that the world is coming to the end. She didn't know what that meant so she stayed in the back of the cell. She heard growls and shouts and gun shots. She looked out the cell and seen a policemen shooting at a guy. Only it wasn't a guy. It was the dead. Read to follow Kayla Rocksand on her journey while fighting the zombies and meeting her mate. . . . I wiggled under my mate, trying to get out from under him. He growled and lowered himself on me so that I couldn't get out. He then shifted as I looked the other way. "Look at me", he growled. I just stared to the side. I suddenly felt large hands grab ahold of my snout. He pulled my face so that I'm looking at him. "Shift", he commanded. I didn't because I don't listen to orders. "I said shift", he demanded again. Again I just stayed there. He then got off me and went behind a tree. He came out with shorts on. "I.said.shift", he growled angrily. I shifted and started to yell at him. "Your not my alpha. I don't follow orders. If you want a submission mate then go to another girl. I didn't even want a mate nor did I want to be in a situation like this", I growled. "I am your alpha and I am your mate. You have to listen to me. I don't want no other girl besides you. You are my mate and your gonna deal with it", he growled back. "No, I could always reject your sorry ass", I scoffed. He didn't like this one bit. He growled and pinned me to a tree. "Your my mate and you better accept it", he growled softly before slamming his lips on me. All I could think is...... 'How did my life get so messed up?'

[FOR OFFLINE READING PURPOSES ONLY!!! THIS TRANSLATION IS NOT MINE!!! CREDITS TO ORIGINAL TRANSLATOR!!! THIS BOOK AND ALL CHARACTERS ARE NOT MINE, CREDITS TO ORIGINAL OWNER!!! PLEASE DO NOT VOTE!!] I had a supporting role in a modern fantasy. The loyal dog of a villain with an angel's name, Cheon Sa-yeon, and an unfortunate supporting character who died on his behalf, Han Yi-gyeol. In order to escape from Cheon Sa-yeon and survive, he must use the protagonist Ha Tae-heon. But Ha Tae-heon, who he thought of as a lifeline, was infinitely indifferent to him. Rather, Cheon Sa-yeon showed interest. But besides that, something strange happened. The events that occurred in the original story had advanced, and the gate and monster levels had risen. Even the people were 'different' from the original. The original version I was trying to use was wrong. * * * "...Cheon Sa-yeon." I thought it was unlikely, but you really... "You already knew how to clear the dungeon. But is that all?" Cheon Sa-yeon, who was walking to the basement entrance, looked back at me. He said with a soft smile, "You and I are the same, Han Yi-gyeol." "What do you mean?" "It means that we're both hiding our hidden cards from prying eyes." Hidden card. I tried not to react to that word, putting on a calm expression. "Aren't you being unfair? I told you one." "Strictly speaking, I discovered it; you didn't tell me." How petty. Cheon Sa-yeon gave me an interested look and said, "But this isn't bad. It seems like a lot of fun, doesn't it? Predicting, discovering, and using each other's hidden cards." "I'm not interested." In fact, I was interested, but I shook my head in denial, thinking that I wouldn't be able to see a good one if I dared to play. "That's too bad. I wanted you to try."

Taken to the castle by the Vampire King, her life is full of uncertainties when a powerful force threatens to destroy everything she holds dear. *** I walk over just in time for the door to open and see a tall man get out. Immediately, I feel this strange sensation in my body, like something is pulling me to him. His chocolate brown eyes roam over me in curiosity but when our eyes meet, that's when everything changes. His shine bright red and all I hear are my beasts murmuring the word "mate" in realization. I step back in shock, an action that he doesn't seem to appreciate. He snarls, marching towards me and pulling me flush against his chest. I bite my lip when the skin contact feels like my body is rejoicing; as if I had been missing a piece to the puzzle my whole life. He has no body heat and it immediately makes me shiver. I stare up at him, still reeling from everything that's happened and now this. "I've finally found you, my beloved." He murmurs low enough for just us to hear, staring down at me in awe. "Goddess," he begged. "Please help me protect my people." "God," Another one prayed in the front seat of his truck. "Please help me keep my kids safe." "They're all I have left." They both spoke in unison, reaching the ears of their respective deities. They were both some of the strongest men of faith, going through so much hardship. While one tries to protect their home, another seeks to find a safe one for his family. "I believe it's time," She spoke to the woman next to her. High in the sky they floated, their dresses dancing in the moonlight. While her dress was one with the beams of soft white light, the other woman had a dress of gold, showing the sunlight that she mainly stayed in. Her wings were pure white, her hair a vibrant red. She had much color, while she kept with the soft colors of the moon, her own hair white and long, soft as silk. "I can't promise that it will be perfect in the beginning," the angel spoke, looking down at the man in the truck. "But he is of a kind heart, even if it is untrusting at first." "I'm sure Declan can handle that," the Goddess of the Moon smiled at her. "Out of all the challenges he has faced, I'm positive that this won't be difficult for him to achieve." "Out of all the challenges that my soldier has faced," the angel grew a worried look. "I'm worried that this might be the most difficult." *** Wolf Peak has many tales of good and bad, but never has it struggled as much as it was right then. At this point, they're willing to take any chances they can to save their residents from evil in the forests. Even if that means trusting a new family coming into town. With clashing religions and trigger fingers, both men are in for a bumpy ride.

Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. And then one night while heading to go get her friend she's taken and thrown into a world she didn't know existed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Remi?" Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. I see the real meaning in Jen's eyes. Her worries for going home to her overly strict parents. Her fears for the future and the unknown in general. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.
