Every hundred years, God sends an angel down to Earth to help keep humans sane. The devil has been growing stronger and the last angel (which humans call The Golden One) was on Earth over a century ago. This book focuses on the next, and maybe last, Golden One, Ace. Humans aren't pleased with him because he left them to suffer and rot in the mess they've created. Some want revenge, others want justice, but The Golden One has bigger problems when a demon is sent after him to end all the holiness of Earth.
