As long as the people of Aerlian can remember, their world has always been divided into four realms. You get sorted by your eye color. The brown eyes are the knights they have a "gift" for fighting, like bow and arrow, dagger or sword fighting. The blue eyes are the witches they can control the elements. The white eyes are the angels and the red eyes are the vampires. Not much is known about them, because they tend to be rather secretive. And last but not least the green eyes, they are the royal. The royal rule Aerial without morals. Yet they don't have any gifts, we call them the powerless, not to their faces ofcourse or they'll have our heads.
