"HER ERA" is a stand alone new poetry book that encompasses the misfortunes, occurrences and overall hardships that ensue in life. For we live everyday fighting, struggling, pushing on to live a life we can call our own, one that is worth living. But traumatic events happen, among disappointments and mental havoc upon oneself. So in consequence we lose ourselves, momentarily yet for far longer than is to be healthy in which creates more damage than what has already been done. 

I hope to reach the hearts of those who feel similar, who can understand and allow my words to give comfort where it is needed. I appreciate all the support through your reading, voting and feedback that earnestly helps me continue releasing these poems that are so personal.

The only way you can move on it is to forgive yourself and the people who have hurt your soul. I write for the damaged, to let them know I see them suffering in silence. My collection of poems in the past three years which leads to character development. Realistic incidents, illusionary love, hardships, it's quite a journey. Some say I'm unique and some say I'm Raw. Some say my work is relatable and some feel they can relate. That's crazy though, makes me want to be heard. I was quiet as feathers basically my whole life, closed up, antisocial, lost. Until I started writing. Although, I didn't open my mouth, I was even louder than before. Excuse me, I am louder!

I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Along with pieces of life experience advice I've included poetry and spoken word pieces from different perspectives and I try to break down life into beautiful words that people can relate to and see that we all struggle- you're not alone and we are each so valuable.
