"What will we do with a drunken whaler? What will we do with a drunken whaler? What will we do with a drunken whaler? Early in the morning."
There is a little boy - or is it a girl? It sounds like a girl - singing in one of the cells. He - She? - It has been singing since the guard's shift started at midnight. It's a children's song. One the guard himself has sung many times as a child. But only after hearing it again and again for hours does he realize how creepy it really is.
This was written as a writing exercise for one of my larger stories. It was written to the song "Drunken Whaler" from the soundtrack of the game "Dishonored", by which the entire story is inspired. It is advised to listen to the song before or while reading the Oneshot. Two of the main characters feature in here, but they are not named. I'd like to read your suspicions as to who they are and what their story will be. Also, of course, please inform me of any of my mistakes so I can correct them.

#1 - Shocks 26/9/19 "Never knew you had such a dirty mouth." I say, finally opening my eyes to see her giggling at me and biting her lip. I don't even hesitate about what I need to do next. (Not finished, never will finish it. Funny to say, I wrote this back in my first year of high school for, honestly, shits and giggle but it blew up???? Idk... but I kinda just lost the original plot so it's all over the place, grammar doesn't make sense, nothing in this fucking book makes sense. Some warnings + before reads I guess --- As a huge Snow White's Poison Bite fan, who also got inspired by another user's interpretation of the TSOKK album, I decided to write this short story. - the story is written in third person, sometimes switching to first person depending on the character I am writing and if I feel like it - I do NOT own any of these characters as they are real people (okay... I have renamed the jock and the blondie he hooked with since they needed some names in order to clarify my vision of the story though. That is until one day, when the almighty day of prom night arrived.
