Where The Stories Come From
Christine was but 18 when her life was changed forever. She led a very simple life of only the finest things provided by her father and those that worshiped his tracks. While crossing from England back to her home in the Caribbean, their ship is attacked by wretched pirates. Unable to get to the life boat in time, Christine quickly becomes their prisoner held for ransom from her father. As the governor of a small island, appointed by the king himself, they expect he will pay whatever fine they require. Without being able to show any fear, Christine must endure the hardest time of her life alone. Well, not completely. A figure appears in her life as a friend aboard this vessel. On a ship with a crew and captain that are terrible in every way shape or form, he shows kindness and empathy towards her. Afraid for her life, all she can do is wait patiently to watch her story unfold.Complete
