Slade stared at the knee high boy trembling at his feet. What in the hell did his eldest son get into now?

Slade had no interest in having another kid. Not after his two sons were nearly killed and his ex-wife made sure to make in nearly imposable for him to see his daughter. At least not until one night his eldest son stopped by after a job and left something behind. Something that Slade would never expect to get. A child. Scared. Abused. Small. Slade knew he couldn't leave the blue eye'd, ebony hair'd boy out on the street.

With a twist of events Dick Grayson ends up with Slade. Is the cold heartless mercenary that cold and heartless?  Read to find out.
