When Queen Elinor of DunBroch announces her daughter, Princess Merida, is of marrying age, suitors all over the land come. But the news is so great, it reaches an island far, far away. Stoick the Vast has seen his economy failing, and when the news of the Princess reaches his land, he thinks of a way to save Berk. It may be good for everyone, but it's not good for two certain vikings. Astrid always thought she and Hiccup would be forever, but then that Princess came in the way and took Hiccup away. Astrid is about to get married, and everything in her life seems to be falling into place. However, when it comes to arranging the paperwork, things get thrown out of order. It turns out that Astrid is already married. To her ex-best friend: Hiccup Haddock. In order to marry her fiance, Astrid must get a divorce from Hiccup. The only problem is that she hasnt spoken to Hiccup in 3 years. And things between them did not end well. Returning to her old hometown, Berk, Astrid is determined to get that annulment, meaning that she has to agree to Hiccups terms before he is willing to sign: to stay in Berk for 3 months as his slave. Can Astrid get the annulment? Or will she even want to?
