When the Gaang has an odd run in with Zuko, Sokka can't seem to part with the hot head teen. What is so interesting about Zuko, and had the Gaang misjudged him? This story takes place as the gAang is on there way up to the Northern Watertribe to learn water bending. This is very canon-divergent. Slowburn. Takes place maybe 5-6 years after ATLA arc. Aged up. Edit: Zuko doesn't have the best people skills, or leadership skills to be honest. But guess who does? It may take some time for him to realize it, but Zuko enlists Sokka to help with another redemption arc for the Fire Nation. Working together, learning together, loving toge- who said anything about that?! Wait, are there feeling here? Feelings can't get in the way of the mission...world peace is at stake! (Also, how I want to envision the bridge between ALTA and LoK to be established. All it takes is some gayyy) "It's the meeting with the other nations. They all think I have all the answers!" Zuko threw up his arms in aggravation. "I don't know what I'm doing!?" He slumped down onto the foot of Sokka's bed, holding his face in his hands. Confused at the candor of his former rival, he lifted a hand to pat his shoulder. One tap...a hesitation, then a couple more taps, "That's rough, Buddy." This is an Avatar : The Last Airbender fanfic in which my OC, Madelyn Grace Langston (or Maddy) is integrated into the story without changing the plot a whole lot. This is a Zuko love story too. and I tried to make it as good as a writer like me can. This is only the first book, Water, and if it gets good views I will continue with the next two and maybe the stories after that as well. Madelyn is from the universe where ATLA is just a tv show, by just mean the only thing she seems to find any peace in, and she suddenly awakens on the deck of a certain Prince Zuko's ship and is immediately thrown into his chaotic hunt of the Avatar. After practically raising herself in her flawed home, she became independent and learned how to keep her emotions in check, but when she finds love sneaking up on her she starts to lose the side of her that craves solitude and darkness. Her phobia of fire and sudden talent for firebending create a chaotic pair as she battles both herself and her emotions in a fight that can only end one way. Disclaimers: I do NOT own anyone from this story except Madelyn and everyone from her world.
