Meet Ellie Monroe: a girl who badly hates the limelight—
a type of girl that would always want to fade out in the crowd no matter what. But in actuality, she’s smart, sweet and brave. She’s just often misinterpreted and regarded as snob, sarcastic and violent due to her being so prejudice with people. Also, she’s oftentimes compared and equated with her sole childhood best friend, Nica Howard.

Nica, on the other hand, is a charming and attractive girl who happens to be so popular with people. Besides, she’s got Dean McCall: one of the hottest and most popular guys at school.

Nica always wants to hang out with Ellie all the time. But the problem is that Ellie would always feel awkward and uncomfortable. Who wouldn't be? A girl like her never wished to be surrounded by the people she dislikes a lot: the populars.

For the sake of their friendship, Ellie still finds time to be with her best friend no matter how uneasy she feels to be with them and no matter how annoying and bothersome Scott Maxwell is: the famous heartbreaker and the known hardcore player who happened to be Dean McCall’s best friend.

Would Ellie still be able to achieve her simple goal of having a peaceful and memorable senior year if fate finally acts its role and plays with them? Would she be able to handle the feeling?

With his pride and her prejudice, let’s find out what would happen in their all-time Love-Hate relationship.
