Astrid Anderson is a hopeful, adventurous and funny 17 year old. She has a best friend, Luna Blake who is stunning, intelligent and gets all the boys' attention.

However, everyone knows Astrid as the girl with endless amount of energy. She can make anyone smile just by entering a room. Someone she trusted the most betrayed her and Jake Davis, the shy artsy boy who can't help but be there for her through everything. She soon befriends the new girl Rae but she is hiding a lot of secrets. Together, Astrid and Blake try to figure them out.
