The raven haired child looked up at the tall figures he knew to be his parents. 

"A disgrace!" His mother cried. 

"Do not worry, Kikyo, we can always try again. This one...will have other uses." The mammoth of a man with silver hair gazed down upon him with a calculating look, bordering on disgust. 

The boy stared back at his parents with big black orbs, the iris taking up most of his eyes. Some would say you could see a shimmer, perhaps a hint of light in those eyes, but alas, it was quickly snuffed out.
