This is a sequel to The Masked Menace. If you haven't read it, go on and read it now, because if you don't, this will not make an ounce of sense. 

Jaden is living with an amazing family, but she still doesn't feel whole. Jaden frequently experiences what her new parents call flashbacks, from the traumatic experiences of the kidnapping. She doesn't think that they are, though. Jaden tells her family that she wants to visit her uncle in prison, but they think that she just isn't in the right state of mind. As it gets worse and worse, Jaden becomes violent, and her family really thinks that something is wrong with her. Jaden has become the strange one, the girl you need to stay away from.
