Elsa was a lonely quiet girl. She was a nerd, and very shy. She didn't have many friends except for her best friend Merida. Elsa was constantly bullied at school, she was also forced to do other students homework. She never complained because they paid her for it, but if their grades dropped at all, they would beat her. Merida kept trying to protect Elsa, but she wouldn't let her, and always told her it was fine and it didn't bother her much. The students started making bets, to see who could make Elsa cry, who would be able to break her. Even though nobody has succeeded they still tried, but people couldn't even make her flinch. Nobody knew why she went from an outgoing and fun person, to a quiet and emotionless person. If only they knew the truth, then maybe they'd treat her better. In reality, Elsa had a terrible home life. Her father is a jobless, heartless drunk. He beats her daily, and treats her like a maid. She's not allowed to leave the house unless its for school, she cant have friends over, and she's not even allowed to have friends. She has a sister who lives with their mother in a different country, and she is forbidden to speak to or of them. What happens when one day, someone finds out the truth? Can they save her? The Big Four. Four BFFs from hundreds of years ago. A series of accidental meetings that blossomed into strong friendships. Until one of them moves. And then dies. The other three are devastated by this news. They decide not to have their planned meeting when they turn 18. But fate chooses to unite the four once more. They enjoy hours of reminiscing and story-telling, and get glimpses of how life has been good to each of them. My book follows the story lines of all of the movies almost exactly. I changed RotG to better fit the timeline, though, causing Jack Frost to become a Guardian very soon after dying instead of hundreds of years later. This is a Big Four story. It is not named after Bilbo's book for any particular reason. It's based off a picture I found on Pinterest that I added to the top of each chapter. Edited, as of 3/31/16!Complete
