BEFORE SHE MET HIM, SHE HAD TO FLEE... "Where do you think you're running to, Hecate?" Zeus sulked behind the dark goddess, her raven locks swaying down her back as she clenched her spell book to her chest. "Far away from Olympus, and far away from you and your distasteful rules on what it means to be a Olympian." Hecate hissed, slamming the door behind her in Zeus's face as she fumbled through her home, her inked skin radiating in the moonlight that peered from the hole in the ceiling above her very own temple. She received prayers here from those that worshipped her from below. She could hear their whispers, their sacrifices, all done for her. She longed to be beside them. To live a life amongst those that adored her, rather than living in a world that turned her away. She was dark, many feared her as if she was Hades, but she was far from it. She was capable of good, whilst also being capable of bad. But she didn't want to be bad, sometimes bad things just happened to her. "You're going to earth, aren't you?" Her second face appeared in the mirror to her left, her sapphire eyes landing on the reflection peering at her. "I long to be with my people, I must join them. Live a life where they can't find me." She mumbled, fidgeting through the pages before landing on a spell that did exactly what she wanted. To be born again on earth soil, in the vessel of a human. She would still have her powers, and be aware of who she was, but not until her twentieth second birthday. "What about us?" Her third face now appeared, her eyes landing on them from across the room in the right mirror now. "You'll always be with me. We are one. We are Hecate, we will never be apart." She placed one hand on the mirror to the left before placing the other on the right, eyes gleaming up at the moon now. "Take me home, my light." She sighed, eyes closing as she started mumbling a spell, eager to begin her new life, as a mundane, on planet earth amongst her believers.

She has the makings and potential of a queen-- one worthy enough to be crowned monarch of the third and darkest realm... At first glance, a gloomy greek god and a high school cheerleader have nothing in common. One is only eighteen and the other is centuries old. One is immortal, the other is human. One thrives in the spotlight, the other prefers the comfort of their isolation. One prefers being the center of attention, and the other likes to admire from afar. They're as different as night and day. And yet, despite their differences, there is one thing that unites them both. Fate. Cover by me
