Military secrets, mysterious voices, dark magic, and suddenly Jacob Declo finds himself tangled in a war. As a non-magical, small town hero, his only focus was to defy the Law and help the people.
Apparently defying the Law wasn't the best idea...
When he and his friends get caught breaking curfew for the third time they get to meet two high ranking Lieutenants. Suddenly he's not just a small town hero. Lieutenant West and Lieutenant Baneswolf have a special mission, one that somehow requires him. He certainly didn't mean to get caught up in all of this, but he was more connected with it than he ever would have known.

This is an original work, I swear the actual reading is better than the description. This takes place in a whole other interstellar system. Hopefully everything makes sense. I like to call this mix of science and magic: science-fantasy.
Will include language/profanities, and injuries(not overly descriptive but still), if either bother you then skip over this :)
Enjoy!

Castle Rock. A formidable laboratory housing monsters, unwilling subjects and other supernatural entities stationed deep beneath the ice of a tundra in an unknown region of a fragmented world. The place of nightmares that very few know of, the place of cruel and inhumane tests conducted on the innocent. Castle Rock at [DATA EXPUNGED], has experienced a site-wide destabilization due to the intense polar storm that currently is decimating the tundra. These storms are known to be dangerous for a plethora of reasons throughout the world. The Facility and all of it's holding cells & security stations deactivated and disabled due to the storm. Releasing everything without supervision. Hence, this phenomenon being called "Destabilization". Now, Monsters and deviants alike set free to roam. Some take matters into their own hands to escape. (Y/N) is a subject within the bowels of the facility, among the few who have the will to survive. Though, with little knowledge of their own past and current situation, (Y/N) finds some friends along the way. All hoping to find an escape. This story is a little gay, just a little. Hope you enjoy reading, give me any and all feedback The story will randomly transition between reader POV and (Y/N) POV at times. It's subtle, so pay attention. [Sometimes scenes will say "We did (something) and other times [You did (something). It's all the same. Just different POVs Melee killing is violent and gory on purpose. None of the art shown belongs to me. Inspired from various video games. Melee Combat directly based on Decaying Winter Slightly inspired by Rogue Lineage. Gender-neutral reader.

That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die. [H.P. Lovecraft] - Accepted in the Urban Reading List @WattpadUrban - Accepted in the Magic Reading List @magic - [5th Place [81/100 pts.] in the Ruby Awards [@The_ruby-awards] Paranormal/Horror Section - Winner of the Wattpad Nobel Awards - Supernatural Section [91/100] A trigger happy Irish ex-soldier who's not afraid to put her tactical mind, her cooking abilities and her utter ignorance of the Magic world on the field. A Mexican Palo Mayombe priest who'd very much prefer to live a quiet life between his magical studies and his parish. A Russian engineer who has lost most of his memories and would just like to spend his days in his cellar, where nobody knows what happens. A bureaucrat at heart, forced to he the Enforcer, and thus the tactical chief - or as he likes to define himself: glorified babysitter - of the aforementioned three subjects. A powerful Order of Mages, working behind the scenes of the world... in the most bureaucratic and organized way. What happens when a simple mission, who would lift the Coven of the Pollos Rojos de la Revolucion at least up the rank where they'd have the right to a home with, at least, one room each and two bathrooms, goes south in a totally unpredictable way? Follow the adventures of Banshee, Chico, Vopros, and Garaham, as in Strange Aeons, unnamed supernatural forces, and very named ones, find themselves at the beginning of a plan eons in the making, that will change everything. Especially the lives of the three minimum-wage mages. ********************************************************************************************
The Last Knights of Cambria Book 1: Echoes of Gideon by kullman
16 parts Complete
Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.

It started with a portal from the sky. Earth was put into chaos, talking about aliens and how our world is going to be taken over. It then became worse when humans started descending down from the clouds. I have always been normal, so imagine my surprise when I wake up one day to those people in my living room. Dragged into a world of creatures, magic and mages-- Never did I know I'd live a life fighting in war and falling in love with the wind mage.
