Raven is a strange young woman, she has grown up in the compound all her life, with no memory of how she got there or who her parents were. Everyone in the compound is trained to be a warrior, some of the combat training is very hard, but Raven excels at everything she learns, maybe a little to much.
When the new general is appointed to the elite task force that keeps the demons and creatures coming through the rift at bay and out of human territory, Raven is up for a challenge. General Slade is ruthless in battle and works the cadets hard in training, but to Raven it seems like he has it in for her in the beginning, but a near death experience changes everything. Will Raven find out who she is, and will she survive the General that torments her in more ways than one.
