Riley Gilbert; 25 years old and a single mother of her 6 year old son, Asher.
Riley had always been the family disappointment, the one no one wanted. So, when she had gotten accidentally pregnant, (gave birth at 19) they are furious and give her an ultimatum. Get an abortion or get the hell out. She chose to leave.
Now, after a tragic event in her new home, New Orleans, Riley has no choice but to return to her hometown.
Coming back she expected the town to be the same boring town it's always been. But, when she meets a very attractive Original vampire in a suit, she realizes her life will never be the same. And she didn't care one bit.
