Mature
There were two things that Athena Copper was sure about;
1) She absolutely hated Theodore Nott.

2) A book could solve everything. Need to escape the world? Read a book. Need the answer to a question? Read a book. Need something to do to pass the time? Read a book. Athena always seemed to have a book on her and always seem to have her nose in a book. If you ever need to find her, the first place to look would be the astronomy tower. You guessed it. Reading a book.

But sometimes escaping reality is the worse thing you can do. Sometimes you must face the truth and deal with it. This is something Athena will learn not only with the war coming but also the fact that sometimes when she gets into little fights with Theodore, her stomach fills with butterflies and the redness in her cheeks rises.

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
