A young woman named Melissa Jones lives alone in a two bedroom apartment that becomes too expensive for her after she loses her job. She is not in college but she is an aspiring author. She sends out for a roommate only to find a man named Jake Taylor interested in the room. The second day they are together, everything goes downhill from there. Everything happened sooner rather than later.
