The 05 of June is a special day for one particular Slytherin boy, and on this day he receives a gift from his mother. A simple leather book with a certain magic aura to it that just gives the boy immense happiness and over time, changes his ways.

With the nicer and less intimidating Draco Malfoy around, friendships are made everywhere. There's house unity, the teachers finally get a bloody day off - because Merlin knows they need a break - and an unexpected, yet much welcomed affection grows between two of the most unusual of people.

This is a short Harry Potter story I wrote just for giggles, but decided to post it because, hell, it's weird...

He meets a boy called Draco Malfoy, and despite a misunderstanding (and something about a weasel?) They become fast friends. A few years later they decide that just isn't enough. Harry can't stop thinking about Draco's stormy eyes and Draco simply adores Harry's freckles. (Just a PSA for the hardcore fans, this won't follow much of the original story and will most probably be filled with non-canon things that will be canon for this fic. If you find any mistakes that seem way too out of reach, please tell me and I'll alter it.)
