What was meant to be an easy quest in a woodland mansion goes wrong and the encounter with its magical inhabitants leaves Dream cursed so that anyone who sees his face will instantly fall in love with him. Now it's up to George to save his best friend before the curse turns deadly. Can he break the curse without his own feelings getting in the way? A realistic medieval minecraft au that I haven't really thought out too well. This is mostly about exploring the relationship between Dream and George because I think they have a very beautiful friendship. Originally posted and completed on ao3 because I didn't have a cover for wattpad. The plan was for me to draw a cool cover because I like to think I'm a pretty good artist, but I'm also lazy so here's a stock photo I put text over. Chapters will most likely be released daily, depending on how fast I can adjust the formatting for wattpad. ======================== A note about shipping: This is a story about the online personas/characters portrayed Minecraft Youtubers Dream and Georgenotfound, not their real-life counterparts. Dream struggles to fight off Nightmare who is taking over him, making him hurt those he loves and kill. At first he convinces himself he's being destructive and evil for George, so that George will never be in danger and could do what he wants but it is soon made clear Dream is not the one making the decisions over his own actions. Set as if Minecraft was real with canon lives. Occasional Sapnap POV and George POV. A lot of dialogue for the first chapters was taken from several streams but after that it is made up including the story. Songs are incorporated but don't need to be listened to, to read. I don't generally write so it may not be the best story but I hope you enjoy all the same! :)
