Anyways, the description:
Sirius Black, James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew are all first years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They share a dorm and become best friends.
They develop a reputation as the school's most mischievous students. James has a silly, yet very real crush on Lily Evans, trying, and failing to impress her every chance he gets.
Sirius's parents has made his life as horrible as they can, even while he's at Hogwarts. The three other boys help Sirius get through the hell that his parents put him through.
Meanwhile, every month Remus goes to the shrieking shack and awaits to turn into a monstrous werewolf, having to wake up in the hospital wing the morning after, filled with aching pain. He has to deal with this all on his own and hide it from his friends, for he's afraid if they find out they'll think he's a monster and hate him for it.
The four boys stay with each other through thick and thin.

Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school. Constantly worried about her muggle parents, Tessa's grades slip and she begins to spend more time at the library. Thankfully the new assistant is willing to help her.
