A short story based on the painting, Docks on Bay of Fundy, 1943 by Arthur Lismer.

The story follows Arthur as he loses the most precious thing in his life and he becomes overwhelmed by grief. A friend makes a point to check up on him until one day that friend decides that enough is enough and stages an intervention ending in Arthur being dragged out of his home to a peaceful lakeside.

Note: The character Arthur was created with no knowledge of who Arthur Lismer is in real life. The only similarities are his name and profession as a painter.
