This story is only about part one of the beginning of the end of life as we know it. Destiny has seen our future, and knows that the end of humanity as we know it is over. Out of desperation he sends darkness to Earth in order to start a new Dark Age which, if started, will save humanity from its own devices.
Fin Esili, an 18 year old that goes to New York University, is chosen in the midst of the destruction of New York City to be the Lord of the Dark Age. He is forced to accept this reality when he is kidnapped by those he was supposed to lead, and trained to be the leader that will wipe out human civilization.
Fin is told that there is another way to save humanity, but the only to accomplish it would be sacrificing himself and all of his followers. Could Fin make such a choice?
