The Dark Labs have been studying materials from a demonic world for years, with only minor incidents thus far. He was a human working alongside dragons, avians, and the like. He inherited a strange artifact from relatives, something the dragons said had a strange power. Despite being only an apprentice, this man was handling some rather dangerous substances. However, the one testing the substances would never imagine one of the samples would lead to a catastrophe. The sample's code name: 'The Demon Core.'
Those the cause isn't always the focus, something the right person in the wrong place can make a difference in the world.
