Eliza Tate, the American, steps off the boat and into a whirlwind of British nobility in search of a husband. Not by her choice for that matter, but of her senator father, looking to plant roots in the British parliament. As far as she knows.
Of course, not just anyone can look for a match during the British social season. Eliza's great uncle so graciously offered to sponsor her as his daughter, Bronwyn, is attending her first social season in London. The odds are stacked against both of them, as the nobility isn't too fond of an American trying to gain any favors in the sacred tradition.
Especially, a certain Viscount who is making his intentions known for the first time in the social season after a not so secret breakup with his soprano lover. Why, Lord Anthony Bridgerton of course.
At what stakes does Eliza really need to find a husband? And can she convince any of the nobility to fall in love with her?
Only time will tell and it is sure to be another memorable social season if I do say so myself.
