* This is a rewrite of one of my best ever novellas. It orginally started as a Covid passtime, starting January of 2021. Chapter one was then published in June of 2021. It was complete, January of 2022, but now that I have matured in my writing styles, I am going to rewrite this better. I hope you enjoy the new, updated version.*

MYTH-TAKEN IDENTITY - a 2025 ONC novella
An introverted, recluse gamer accidentally finds out she's the reincarnation of a Greek god/goddess, and is stuck in a world-altering time-loop until she figures out WHICH god/goddess she's destined to become. ***** Ophelia Jones is...well, she's nothing. She asks for nothing. She WANTS nothing. Just to stay in her dark basement-apartment, do her mindless data-entering job by day, play video games by night. She refuses to participate in a real social life, and won't read the news or be active in the LGTBQIA+ scene that she belongs in. No, Ophelia is done giving a sh**. She'd rather live in her fantasy world, ignoring the real world around her. That is, until a mysterious puddle surfaces in her backyard, and she jokingly wonders if it'll be a portal to another world, someplace better - and she falls into it. Oh, she's transported to a new world, all right -- but not a parallel world or an alternate universe. She's transported to the past; into mythology, specifically. A short story about a villainess girl who had gained knowledge of her fate. She didn't changed anything and had accepted her fate. Her 'henchmen' as a voice called them, are her precious friends. She knew of what their fate was and has warned them again and again for them to avoid it. ♧♤♧♤ "Just what is real Love?" a whisper of a girl. Images of her friends faces full of despair flashes her mind." Why must we keep on chasing after their shadows when we know that we are not their desiried person?" Years later, friends who are worried about her asked why she held so much sorrow and longing towards the person she's marrying in the future. " A foolishness that I had done causes me to lose all. I give everything for him and just have nothing to receive in return. You, my friends please remember my words. Don't be ruled by jealousy and see the real self of the person you're with. It a waste that I might forgot the plot and all so here it is. Mainly I don't have much time (mostly procrastinating ) and I have lot of novels to catch up.
