What happens when the chosen one is made to bare a disadvantage instead of power? Meet Kaltain. Beautiful, bold and slightly out of her wits. Being the only human in the auxiliary forces, and frankly the only one that lives in Ravryn that isn't a slave is beyond difficult. A disadvantage, especially with her position. The world was meant to be dominated by fae, and with a mortal in such a respected and coveted position, what more is expected than utter hate and protest? She is both sides of the coin, in between what she loves and what she has earned. When a murder tips her life sideways, the predator obviously more powerful compared her mere mortality, and adamant on her being a victim. Her family being his victim . . . Will her state hinder her useless? When conflict arises between two, the third party takes all.

In Whyrlsong, Chaos is fate, and the gods beneath it are its Vessels. Silvanya is among the chosen Vessels of war incarnate. At the peak of her prowess, a betrayal unfurls, forcing gods to turn against each other. Silvanya is the first to fall as she is cursed to an eternal slumber with a dagger driven to the center of her chest. And it only takes an oath-bound mortal like Aerys, to pull the dagger from her heart and have her loyalty under his whim. With a broken Vessel at his side, it is up to him whether he uses her for his own agenda or free her from her cursed shackles and let chaos lead the rest. ▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎ This story is a work in progress and will therefore be subject to changes in plotlines.
