All Chris knew was that it started with a cough. Just a tiny cough would be what indicated your death couldn’t be escaped. There were no more head colds, chest colds, or any colds for that matter--it was 2036! Everything was up to date and everyone was perfectly healthy--or so Chris thought. Little did he know that the population of the entire Earth was deteriorating at a rapid pace, and he could be next. The stomach-churning fact of the matter was that the people who you thought were supposed to save you, would be the ones who would kill you.

After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. The Wildfire Virus. That's the illness the eggheads have called dubbed that has spread alarmingly fast all over the world. No could figure out at first how and where it came from or how even spread so quickly. I was on leave, visiting brother in Boston when the infection hit. Yesterday, the world was normal with its own conflicts. The next, millions get sick, hospitals are overwhelmed, and any sort of space was converted into a makeshift hospital to handle all the sick. On day 2 the sick died and awoke attacking the living. I tried to get out of the city, but the military closed off every major access point and now I'm trapped within, along with millions of undead.
