Most of us long to "Be" but when the path gets too costly, or steep, we take solace in what we "Have." Remove the trappings of what we own and then what is the sum of us? They were the survivors, abandoned by the allies who swore to protect, in the ultimate gesture of greed and betrayal. Their world plunged into annihilation and chaos. With the passage of years in this blighted landscape order was established anew. Those who had been anonymous before the war found their will to rule, those who had experienced the comforts and ease of western life, thrust into darkness and despair. *WARNING STORY MAY BE TRIGGERING * She's black and mexican. He's a white boy who prefers to date white girls ONLY. He isn't against other races so he says it's just his preference. His dad is the main person concerned about the future Luna skin color. His abusive dad threatens to kill his mate if she's of color so is his preference in dating based on avoidance of conflicts ? The moon goddess doesn't give him a mate based on what his father will condone. When he meets his black and Mexican mate... he hurts her, bullies her, and most importantly Rejects her. Rejection from your mate can feel and lead to death of your wolf. At first she thinks he's just scared and doesn't take his rejected too hard but it still hurts. At a high school party he gets intoxicated with his friends and tends to find someone to bring upstairs to have fun with. Your typical fuck boy. His mate comes to the party and he brings her outside to apologize speaking based off his true emotions. Unfortunately later he won't let her think that was him showing his vulnerable side. He takes her virginity that night just to turn around early in the morning and treat her like she was just a piece of meat to him. He makes sure that she leaves the house feeling worthless to her alpha mate. Little does he know she's got a thing for revenge and tends to go too far. How far will she take the disrespect and lack of feeling loved? Is he always the bad guy ? Or is she just naïve and confused. *WARNING STORY MAY BE TRIGGERING* Intentions of this book: To bring light of the darkness of generational racism. Show light of The journey of a person of color in finding self love when you're not the definition of today's beauty standard. Proverbs 21:15 "It is a joy to the just to do judgment, but destruction shall come to the workers of iniquity" The Horseman of War and Justice received a message from the Goddess/Death to go to a fantasy world that is parallel to Earth, with WW2 and Cold War era technology. His task is not only to bring order to a chaotic and destructive world, but also to guide her children to defy their Fates. Tasked with a questionable and difficult job, he and his army must go through many obstacles, like dealing with other civilisations that see him as a threat, fighting armies that use magic and powerful weapons, and even gods residing in the world. But despite all this, he will get help from unusual yet amazing people. He might even call them his... family.
