Princess Alexandra of the Dark Court got robbed of her throne when rebels overthrew the court and now has to fight to survive. 

Princess Eleanore of the Light Court who knows that in order for her kingdom to survive she has to marry a lord and produce heirs.

Unfortunately for everyone, she is more interested in the ladies at the court than the lord she's supposed to marry, especially the sister of the Lord she was promised to. 

Things change drastically, when Alexandra is accused of treason and send to the Light Court for her execution and Eleanore is appointed Queen, and with that one step closer to death. 

The magicians of Anea have given up their power in order to secure peace in Anea. With the throne of the Kingdom of the Dark destroyed, their magic is slowly returning and they are hungry for more. 

Eleanore and Alexandra soon have to realize that they're destined for far bigger thing than they could've ever imagined.
