Despite being born blind, she was the gifted child that any parents would manifest, any teacher would compare and any human being would look up to. At the age of one, she could read brail. When she was two she miraculously memorized the periodic table by only listening and by the age of three she learned how to play piano by simply pressing the keys and hearing the notes.

However, her seemingly perfect life turned upside down when a tragedy killed her whole family. Being the only survivor, she awoke perplexed with a 20/20 full vision and with the ability to see familiar memories through every human's left eye.

The doctors claimed that an unknown person donated those eyes whilst her ability is a psychological result of her trauma.

But for Heidi, answers are still yet to be found.

IN 90'S YEARBOOK SERIES 1 Why do our dreams so often feel like distant stars, as if just beyond reach? Why must we wrestle so fiercely, bleeding through wounds of doubt and stumbling beneath shadows, just to claim the right to call them our own? Must relentless struggle be the price we pay for fulfillment, as if the path to our dreams is carved only through pain and sacrifice? In the words of Yves Magdalene Aquino, even the deepest hardships cannot be measured against the pursuit of her dreams. No measure of suffering, no storm of sweat, blood, or tears has ever sufficed to compensate for the relentless efforts she invests simply to support her own needs and to ease the burdens carried by her parents. For her, no amount of effort ever feels enough. Yet, despite tireless effort, Yves feels the poignant ache of insufficiency. No amount of sacrifice seems to grant peace to her mother's weary heart or to lay rest upon her father's tired shoulders. In her heart, she wrestles with a haunting question: Is she truly deserving of these dreams, or are they forever just out of reach? Even to him, she once believed she could firmly hold on. . . the one who made reality blur with dreams, who pulled doubt away like a gentle tide withdrawing from shore. To him, she surrendered all doubt, forgetting for a moment that she was dreaming at all, because in his presence, the weight of the world seemed to dissolve into the palm of her hand. Yet, some dreams are not meant to last forever. Lorenzo Coriolanius Escaleaez, the name that once echoed with warmth and endless possibility, became the dream she outgrew. And she wished she'd never wake up. That she;d'd never face the reality. . . that the freedom to dream anew, beyond all she had imagined. . . beyond the fragile longing for what once was. Masamang kalabanin ang tadhana. When I stepped inside that horrifying machine, I was aware of the high possibility that I might not make it back alive. I was aware of the dangers of traveling through time. Bakit ko parin ginawa? Because I believe in happy endings. "And that's how everything started." Said mom. I looked at her as she caresses my hair. The bruises on her face and arm still distracts me. I can't believe that she ended up with a good for nothing guy. "Mom, I swear to God that I'm gonna get us out of this place." I promised her. She gave me a sweet smile, the one that never fails to calm my heart. A tear fell from her right eye. Mom's left eye was blinded three years ago because of my step father. That's why only her right eye can cry. "Go to bed. Hindi ka tatangkad kung magpupuyat ka." Said mom. I gave her a kiss on the forehead before I stood up and went outside of her room. It breaks my heart to see her like that. Kung may kapangyarihan lang sana ako I'd travel through time kung saan ang totoong dad ko and my mom were still together. If I'd be given a chance to do that, gagawin ko ang lahat para hindi sila magkahiwalay. So that I will never ever see my mom cry again. That's why I made up my mind. I will rewrite the past. I will save my mother and give her the happy ending she deserve. Babaguhin ko ang nakaraan kahit agawin man nito sa akin ang kinabukasan.
