Maddy Swan is the younger twin sister of Bella Swan. She is sick. She has Leukemia and she is dying. She's had it since she was 10. She's very close to her sister. She doesn't have any friends because she's afraid that she makes friends she would leave them by dying. That goes for having boyfriends as well. But she never cared about having friends nor boyfriends because she always had Bella. When their step-father got signed to go on a baseball tour, Bella and Maddy decide to go live with her father so their mother could travel with Phil. Renee isn't too keen on them going to live with Charlie. Especially Maddy. She doesn't want to be too far from her. She wanted to stay home with Maddy and Bella, but they insisted she travel with Phil. When Bella and Maddy get to forks, they meet the Cullen's and Maddy falls for one of the Cullen boys. But will she let him in or will she ignore her feelings, afraid of hurting him.
