The story of four young adults in the 1830's. Atticus Malin Inklore, a 17 year old boy with five children, who's never known any lifestyle other than poverty and theft. Auradella Jane Lycanth, the pride and joy of her family. She lives in a gorgeous house along with her sister Nancy May, who is trapped in Auradella's glowing shadow. Velox Falvia Insidiae, their childhood friend with a fiery soul up to no good. They take advantage of their riches and has a bad influence on the other nobles. When a barefoot boy on Merchant's Street catches Auradella's eye, how will the rest react to the newly found odd couple? What if Nancy May wants to have the spotlight, what will happen to her and her sister's relationship? And what if, Velox Falvia's secret comes out, will his reputation be destroyed? Or will he find what is worth having. Everyone has a facade, you just have to find a way through it.
