Do you ever feel like you are being followed? Not like followed home or followed in the grocery store. Like followed doing anything and everything.

Well I do.

I swear he is following me. He doesn't talk to me unless it's to pick on me or put me down. I see him everywhere. Now that high school was over I thought I would get rid of him by picking a college across the country.

I was so wrong.

"Yes. But it's to keep you safe." His deep voice came out.

"Safe from what?" I yelled.

"I can't tell you." He said softly. 

"You have been following me for years. Literal years. Everywhere I go you are there. Vacations, concerts, and grocery stores. We used to be friends." I cried.

"I know. I'm sorry. I'm just trying to keep you safe." He explained.

"Just go. Leave me alone please. I can't....I can't do this." I whispered.

"I'm not leaving you." He demanded grabbing me and holding me in his arms.

I look up and give him the fakest smile i can put on "did my constant harasser also become my stalker?" i said referring to him saying my name before looking back at my computer. He sat down next to me. "Not a stalker or a harasser just an acquaintance" he said before continuing "also i got your name from your friend, also let her know i do not want her please and thank you" he said before getting up "she doesn't want you either" i responded not moving my eyes from the screen "definitely not what she said last night" he said flashing me a smile which i rolled my eyes to. I was sincerely praying he was grabbing his stuff to go so i wouldn't have another interaction with him, but of course not. His friend left and he came back and sat by me. "I'm trying to do homework can you please go somewhere else" i said in a heavily annoyed tone. "See i would, but one i think you like me too much to actually want me to leave" he said before i cut him off "i don't" he laughed before continuing "this next part is really gonna suck then" he said pausing obviously waiting for a reaction out of me which i don't give him. "fine. you're no fun. we have to schedule our tutoring times" he said before nudging me "i'm your first student to tutor surprise!" he said in a tone that i can only describe as annoying because that's all he is, is annoying. I look up at his face that's gleaming with joy purely because i'm annoyed.

I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.
